My interests in the knee include cartilage, menisci and ligament problems such as ACL ruptures and arthritis. For the hip, I am interested in problems athletes may face including muscle/tendon problems, labral tears, cartilage damage, and employ arthroscopic techniques for joint-preservation such as cartilage and labral repairs and reconstructions. In the elbow, I enjoy taking care of throwers and pitchers who might be faced with overuse problems and ligament sprains and tears. Originally from the Maryland/DC area, I played competitive volleyball in college and was an electrical engineer before directing my focus onto medicine. My hobbies include traveling, exploring and sightseeing around the world, having been to places that include 6 of the 7 continents. Particularly memorable places have been China, Taiwan (where I am originally from), Russia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Peru, the Grand Canyon in Arizona and the California coast.
